Meaningful quote I chanced upon which I felt the need to share on my blog to everyone here. It applies pretty much to daily life; school/work/relationships/fitness. I am a fitness fanatic and I feel this is impt when it comes to having the mind strong enough to complete every set of workout you had planned for the day.

Alright, lets catch up on what has been in and out of my daily life.

Dress from Love, Bonito

Decided on something bright and cheery to office on a Friday morning. I am glad I managed to secure this piece when it was re-stocked. Hee, even my colleague was like "Wow, so colourful today!" Happy colors brightens the mood up at work too! And something different from my usual #ootd photos. I am learning to be better in my photo-taking skills everyday now!

After work, met up with beloved bimb & himbos for dinner in town! They went off for Korean since I was running for an event till 8pm and I joined in after the dinner for desserts! Initially was decided on cold stone but the quene was mad and so we settled for "Dolce Tokoyo" at Somerset 313. Badly needed sugar rush for the night since it was an end to th work week; eat first, diet tomorrow!





Lovely plating done too! Happy foods makes me happy!



We also got Mildred a RVV cupcake and had a mini celeb for her since it was her birthday few days later! I am glad she's part of our mini family now. Hee.



Been long since we snapped tgt,dearest girlfriend from uni! :D



Random shots at home on a saturday noon while waiting for the sister's girlfriends to crash our place for "sisters-meetup" session for her wedding gatecrash.



Dr Tan also gave me a new color to finish off my 2nd last visit (hopefully) of my 2yrs dental journey! I can't wait to see how I will look without braces but I can't bear to take it off either, been soooo used to having something in the mouth already :'(



Mom was away to visit the grandmother for the weekend so we went out for dinz on our own. Love siblings snaps!



And as promised to the brother, we caught Ironman 3 together after dinz! And one of the best movies this year so far. I'm in love with Tony Stark now and wouldn't mind for an Ironman boyfriend #bimbomoments. HAHAHA!



We finally tried and had soup spoon together during lunchtime on Monday! Was reading Shape the previous day and saw of the Nicosie Salad that they were selling and so I had that together with Pumpkin Soup which I had wanted to try since ages ago! I thought it would be pumpkin-ish but turned out to be pretty good to me! And whats more of calories ard 130? :D



Dinner was at "The Green Door" on a Tueday night (eve of labour day) with my bff, twiny @monchao! He was writing a review on the place during work in the afternoon while we were what's app-ing for dinner places in mind. Hence, we decided to give this a try! The place's really nice and cosy and not too noisy for drinks and catching up with friends. I was playing ard with his specs too. 14yrs & going :DD



Got the waitress to snap a photo for us! Hee. Look, how much we've all changed!



Came home to new parcels arrived! Love the cutting of the geometrical dress from #missypixie! Totally fitting and also the length is good for office work wear too! And finally gave in to the temptation of an inspired PS1 in Suede grey since my inspired Celine was dying!



The next day was Labour Day! My long awaited PH! And was planned on a day out with the family to town to look for my brother's pants for the sister wedding on 1st June 2013! Taken en-route to Dean&Delucan @ OC. I love my brother.



I finally wore my Zara Aztec bandage skirt out to town! Bought it since a month ago and only can chunk it till weekends! I am so loving the happy colors but disappointed with the size since I normally wear an S but this S is rather tight-fitting for me :/ and I reckon it's the smaller cutting of the skirt!

April had been a fulfilling month at work. I learnt to be better at work; making lesser mistakes and judging people less which in turn helped me to open up to knowing more people and going out with different people during lunches. I am spending as much quality time together with my family since the sister is getting married soon. And pretty much enjoy all of those times together. Now I see the importance of a closely-knitted r/s with your family. I used to neglect them when I was attached 1yr ago but now I choose family over any other. I am glad I've been an inspiration to my friends who started to workout more and even have a healthier diet in their life now! One of which is Steph, she actually texted me to ask more about prepping salad :D April has taught me well to never give up on all my workouts no matter how tiring and breathless I may get but to keep on going till you're done with it. May will be even better cause I knw it will only get better and someday I will reach where I had dream myself to be.

With the sister wedding coming up, have so much scrapwork to work on! Finally done with the ring dish. Next up would be the angpao box and desserts table which I will promise to work very hard and give my very best to it :D



Friday at work with fav geometrical dress from #missypixie



Fruit bowl to kickstart Saturday morning since it was gonna be another long day of errands and a wedding dinner to attend in the night.

Many have asked me whether do I take sweet stuffs. I do but it depends. I don't like chocolate but I have major love for anything, green tea! In fact, the only ice-cream I eat would be Matcha Ice-cream, green tea frap from Starbucks. And I am also definitely a cookie monster; my love for oreos, chips-more and tasty biscuits never ends :D I do have my lazy days where I snack alot but I ensure I work them out in the gym on weekdays so it strikes a good balance of both.

I have the habit of having fruits in the morning along with my breakfast. Recently, I've just switched to a new breakfast diet. I'd take alternate mornings and have fruits as breakfast and this in a way balances up my vitamins and sugar intake for my body as well as having a good bowel system too. It is true when people says if you have fruits before any meals, it fills 1/2 of your hunger up and you tend to eat lesser on your meals thereafter. Fruits also serve as a good snack when u're craving for snacks. Like myself, I am a huge cookie monster so I tend to replace it with fruits on days when I know I had too much cookies for the week. It def helps to curb the snacking lesser. So try to kickstart and inculcate fruits in your everyday meals!



Haven't been in shorts for the longest time since weekdays are office wear. Fully decked in fav #Ohvola apparels. Love the neutral colors!



This was taken the other evening when we went for dinz at "The Green Door". I just realized how much we've both changed; physically and mentally. How time flies and we're now into our 14th year of friendship together! So thankful for such a soulmate who's been around through my worst and best days in life. Someone whom I can talk to about anything and everything, share my problems and joy, be there for me, getting all crazy with me and celebrating every birthdays with me. Thankyou my bestest!



Attended my team leader, Simone's wedding at The Hyatt last night with the colleagues! I am so taken back by the ravishings of the whole ballroom and my boss herself. She def looked gorgeous on her best day last night!

Its Sunday and pouring pretty heavily now but I am sure after the rain's done, its the beautiful weekend weather for me to head down to gym for workout, some shopping and then home in the evening with my family!
