I forgot when it all started but I began to felt really fat. I didnt belong to the obese category but more of a fleshy type. & to add on, ever since I got together with Alvin (he's a workout freak) and I began to workout even more than I did before. Let me show you the '09 photo of me.
SERIOUSLY?! My face was SOOO round, teeth was crooked (hadnt had braces on yet), heavy makeup w thick thick lashes (wonder what happen to my makeup style then), flabby arms, armpit fats & basically JUST ROUNDDDD :/

Back then, I didnt think I was fat lah maybe round lor. I didnt bother to exercise nor diet & still feel I was among the average size of most girls. So anyways, I was saying, I felt I needed to make a change in life! That was when my workout regime became much more discipline.
My workout & diet regime
- Gym at least 3times a week in which consist of 20mins run on the treadmill, 4 sets of 15reps of tricep exercises, 2 sets of 20reps of squats.
- Breakfast : wholemeal bread toasted with ham. *always choose lean ham (lesser fats)
- Lunch: Salad with chicken breast. I used to buy those from Subway but found it rather expensive so I switch to the Chicken & Potato Salad from Long John Sliver
- Dinner: No carbs, mainly just veg, meat & fish (with soup sometimes)
It was a bit hard to kickstart & stick to this diet in the first week. Basically it was a REAL torture. I could only see my friends having macdonalds, KFC, koi, choco, sweets & chips. But I was quite determined & after the second week, the cravings got lesser. I was getting used to such diet. I managed to stick to this diet for 5months till date. & I've lost 7kg over 6months. It was definitely a HUGE weight loss.
So this is me now after 6mths @ 43kg!
Of course, I felt rather happy about achieveing what I set out for myself. But the downside is I can no longer retain back a huge appetite anymore. I didnt realize until 1-2weeks back where I tried to finish a meal but halfway I suddenly stopped & felt super bloated. The rest of the night after the dinner was the worst. I felt super uncomfortable and could neither stand nor sit. Thats when I realize my stomach had already gotten use to small meals and when I take huge meals now, it'll disobey & make me feel super bloated till I felt nauseous.
If you asked whether did I regret at all. My answer is still No :) Its true that my appetite cannot go back to how it was like before but I also felt in love with having 5-6small meals through the day now. At least I do not have to worry that I'll feel sick/nauseous after eating.
Healthy Diet also consist of the following:
- Fruits (such as Apple, Guava, Banana)
- Drinking lots of water daily ( To stay hydrated & good skin)
- Lesser fried foods & sweet stuffs
- Having enough sleep everyday
- Exercise ( It can be in simple forms such as walking to the market)
So it's important to maintain a good balance diet coupled with exercising of 1-2times weekly.
