Life has been pretty hectic these days of work, play, gym, family & self but nonetheless it had been really fulfilling! First half of 2013 indeed just flew past like that!

The most anticipated and the day which all of us looked so forward to every week! Cause it marks the end of another week. We decided to reward ourselves with some decent lunch on a TGIF noon!

Thankful for the hectic Friday @ work yet time passes just as fast when you're really busy. Hence I was packing up happily to wrap up the day and off I went to meet le friends in town for dinner! Our #Clique4 monthly affair!
Dinner was at Alfresco Dining @ Ion, indeed another different dining exp we went! But I reckon we only hv such of these rather "fine dining" once a while. Food wasn't too bad and the place was just nice to catch up over food and drinks. Thankful we didn't wait too long for the food to come either. After dinner was our usual shopping and then our random bar hop begins. We settled in at "Aquanova" @ Clark Quay for some light drinks before we headed to "Shuffle" for the usual fav chinese band.
Longest time girlfriends since when I was 18yr old and working my first PT job while doing my dip.
Our usual crazy moments never ends!
The night ended off around 2am for me and I had a really good shower and turned in right after!

Saturday started off early with monthly dental @ 10am! Boy, I was feeling the tiredness but nonetheless was looking forward so much to the brunchdate affair with le girls; LYY & Ling!
We crashed 3stops that day!
#1 was Batter Fluffy Flaps at East Coast Rd which serves pancakes BUT the pancakes weren't any exciting for us. We were really disappointed cause it taste really like Macdonalds pancakes.
#2: Penny University which was 10mins walk from Batter Fluffy. We bear the scorching weather and made it right there walking!
Penny university is known for its signature coffee and desserts. We saw a few tables having brunch such as waffles & eggs ben there so we were rather sore cause they look way yummier and better than Batter Fluffy! :( Indeed,the desserts at Penny University did justice! Love the Lemon Merigue and the Cookies Ice-Cream! We had a mini celeb for Ling's birthday as well! Happy Birthday babe! <3
#3: Cafe Melba
This was also our very last stop before we ended the brunch hopping for the day! Indeed, the Truffle Fries were completely sold for. I was even thinking to go bck for their brunch or dinner some other time soon with my friends! I am sure its worth the penny and calories, heh!

Dinz was Korean BBQ @ BBQ World at Amoy Street!
It was also birthday celeb for Zombie :) Oh god, can't believe it was like the 2nd celeb within the weekend :/
I was rather filled by then and only had a lil for dinz and did the cooking for them!
Bought her Twelve Cupcakes, Brikenstock & the dinner!
Since we were 8yrs till now, how time flies! We're now15yrs into our friendship already!
Maybe we should do something special on the 20th year! :D
This is my bestest gf since primary school days! I will never forget how we both used to hangout after sch right outside the "Mama Shop" for $1 instant noodles, chips, candies & choco, how we sing and dance under the void decks tgt, crashing each other house during weekends, slacking when PSLE ended, taking part in dramas in sch, having fun tgt, brickering, being prefects tgt, going for Malaysia trip for our school trip tgt, going to diff sec sch, still hanging out during sec sch days, slacking at lot one, shopping, neo prints, endless phone calls and now we're all fine young adults! I am thankful for you being around me always, encouraging me, giving me advices, listening, offering a hug when I needed one and supporting me when I was going thru a really bad period of life last year! I am proud of you as well, you had grown to become stronger mentally, changing your perspective in life, growing up to be better than who you were, excelling in your studies and nail course, learning to embrace and for accepting whatever that we had been through and then start to re-understand each other and build this friendship once again! :) Till we grow old someday.

The last birthday of th weekend was none other than for Tiffy, bestest DMS gf :)
We had steamboat dinner over at my crib as they had never been to my place before! So it was another round of feasting again!
The usual style of steamboat! And yes, we had it right at my place's balcony with good view and food and friends, the night was indeed ALL perfect! We even had FULL strength that night!
Baked a Red Velvet Cake for le girlfiend as promised!

When we roll tgt! :D
After dinner, we hang around and chatted abit and basically talked crap as usual! I am thankful for this bunch of wonderful people for the past 5yrs tgt since DMS days! They were the ones who never fails to be there every year of my birthday since 18th! And I am glad for them and will continue rocking this friendship tgt. We hv all grown up and now are all fine young adults in our diff fields of life doing diff things but I am sure our friendship stays as strong as it is!
The weekend had been hectic but fulfilling enough. I spent quality time with different grps of friends, enjoyed myself and had so much retreat as a reward to myself for working hard for the past 2months for myself, life, work and the family! I think life seems more fulfilling this way than having to be just filling it with work only everyday. And at the same time trying to be better in my work, self, gym and bakes. I know I mayn't be the best now nor known but I am sure someday I will. Slow and steady to my dreams.
July's approaching and soon comes August! I am looking forward to November with my family for KOREA!

So for these few months to come by, yes! more work & lesser rest will make it all worthwhile!
