"Lets all not fear tomorrow"

Sometimes the more we fear, the more we hesitate to take that step. 

For all we know, the step may or may not be a good/positive one. However, human nature to always let the worst comes in first in their minds before the good. But let's not let this bring us down and fear or worry about tomorrow. What tomorrow may bring, maybe yet another beautiful day.

And today I did something outta blue. In fact, this has been one of the to-do things on my list ever since long time back but I always didn't get the chance nor have the time. Hence I decided today it shall be!
Planned to collect the cupcakes from D at 2pm at Upper Serangoon. Hence I was in the vacinity of Kovan. I decided to googled for a nearby cafe before or after meeting D. But the lazy got the better outta me and I left house slightly late so I had to collect the cupcakes first!
After collection, I headed for a short walk to Lola's Cafe @ Simon Rd.

Was overwhelmed by the weekend brunch crowd and due to the limited space they have, I decided to get myself a seat just outside the cafe instead of indoors. It seems like a good choice as it was quieter and I was able to concentrate on my new book.

If it wasn't of the cupcakes,I'd have stayed longer to continue a lazy noon of good read.

Very nice cupcakes from Empire.D by Dennis! Indeed, the difference is there and I have ALOT of homework to be catching up with. It's a good idea that chancec upon my mind to consider buying and trying other bakes to compare with my own's and how I can do better. 

Some people sees a cupcake as it is but it is def more than just a cupcake. 

To churn out a beautiful tasty cupcake requires time, effort and patience. You can't overrrush the butter to soften nor can you stop beating the batter jus cause you had wanted it to be done fast. I guess thats the huge overlook on my part. In time to come for any upcoming cakes, I will do better than all my prev RVV orders. 

It is part of en route t being a better baker!

And of course practise makes perfect, time to invest in more time and efforts in Sept weekends to churn out better cupcakes!

Today's short self time was good even though short but I like how I spend it with myself. Just reading, having a tea and people watching. Its indeed a pleasure to be unwinding and slowing down my hectic pace a lil to catch up with myself and my thoughts.

And of course, ytd's Yin Yoga did helped a lil as well. Maybe cause it was very slow pace, I managed to slow down and clear alot of my thoughts. Alot of which I didn't manage to.

To put a short brief to it, for all the good and bad that happened, it's another chapt and learning journey for myself. I seek for the better in the future to come and look ahead even further. I will work harder for my goals and stay focus on my proirities cause thats what life is about.

2013 seems to be a year of meeting new people which Im somehow glad it happened this way.

It does opens myself and my perspectives of certain things even more.
